Unlike a lot of other SWF or Flash sites out there the focus of this one is creating and working with SWF files using Visual Basic.

This is not a Flash site. You should know, up front, that you will not find answers to your pressing Flash questions here. You won't find examples or how-to's for using Flash. You won't even find any fancy SWF files!! If that is what you are after we suggest you start your search at flashkit

This site is primarily about programming and processing - not art. Any SWF files put up here will either be non-functional by design or boringly detailed about technical minutiae :)

To start you off we are providing Testbed Simple, a simple SWF parser written in VB5.
It reports the file header information, all the Tags and any Actions it finds.
No C++, Java or Perl required.

If you don't have VB but do have a VBA enabled application (like Corel DRAW or the Microsoft Office programs) then you might want to take a look at our VBA version of Testbed Simple.

For now that is all we have to offer (hey it's early days for the site :) but we do plan on having something new for you in the near future.
